Season 2025/2026

Results and general information

The 2025/2026 season is already underway. This year we have entered 10 teams into 7 of the now 8 Kent Cup competitions. There is a new Foundation Cup with an average grade limit of 1150 but we have decided not to enter that competition this year. There have also been some adjustments to the grade limits in some of the competitions. See the Kent League tab on the website for the changes.

We have two teams in the Intro, Tom Fuller and Harvey cups this season, and have already played each other in the Intro and Harvey with the results as follows:

Internal Competitions

We're hoping to encourage more participation in our internal competitions this season, especially in the Club Championships, so please sign-up and try and arrange games when you can in that. Group B looks a little light as it stands and it's definitely another good chance to help improve your chess. If you still haven't signed up for any of the internal events please contact Luke as soon as possible. We will have a Club Championship group A and B, the Players Trophy, a Rapidplay and a Time Handicap event.

Note the first round of the Players Trophy has been scheduled for Wednesday 22nd October (draw still to be made) so please keep that free if possible.
