Tom Fuller semi-final match v Lewisham

On Wednesday 1 May 2024 we played a home Tom Fuller Cup semi-final match v Lewisham, winning 3½ - ½

Maidstone 5 v Lewisham 5

Unfortunately Furion Kapitanski, a Lewisham junior, defaulted on board 4 as he arrived at the club but went to the wrong room. It was assumed he was a new junior player and was certainly impressing everyone with his ability! It was not until much later that anyone realised he was supposed to be playing in the match downstairs.

Congratulations to the Maidstone 5 team though. We will now be playing in the Tom Fuller Cup final on the 1st June.
